Last Friday our  superb, wonderful, awesome, cool, funny, ferocious amazing, brilliant chicken, Roda died, We moved house and all the other chickens are having the best time in the world, they love the new house.

Unfortunately last summer 3 of our chickens died. Burrito and Champagne did not. We got 3 new ones in the Autumn they are called: Thora, Jenner and Luma ( not Luna) they are really nice and lay small eggs. Jenner is a Bluebell, Luma is a Light Sussex and Thora is speckaldy. We hope to get another two called Roda and I am not sure about the other one.

The great chicken escape!

Yesterday I went with mama to buy some new chickens.We named them:Roda and Harriet or Harrie for short.Today we let them out into the run but not any further. Unfortunately the run wasn't pushed back far enough so when I went down to check for eggs I realised Roda and Harrie had escaped we spent at least ten minutes maybe more catching them. The other chickens look so big compared to Roda and Harrie. Also unfortunately Champagne died today. By the way Burrito died this last summer.  ;(

Jelly

Mama makes these really delicious Jelly's my two favourite types so far are the apple and lemon jelly and the quince jelly.The first jelly I tried was the apple and lemon Jelly. Mama makes other types too she  makes black berry,elderberry,apple with sage and a few others

Today we went to raglan castle and hay on wye it was 50% fu n and 50% boring.

Today I think I might as well stop always talk about chickens because there is nothing to write about.
